Addressing the 13th National Quality Prize Awarding Ceremony, Zanganeh said toxics and highly dangerous working environment had been causes of taking quality and standardization into consideration in manufacture of the oil industry equipment and items.
He said quality and standardization are two inseparable factors. “First of all, qualitative services and standardization should be fully taken into consideration; the two are essential for health of the public and staff in the oil industry.”
The Minister said preservation of capitals and continued energy security have led to well observation of standards in the oil industry.
He said the oil industry standards are globally devised by the US API, which is a non-governmental and professional institute, and all oil products marketed should enjoy the least mandatory standards so as to friendly to the environment and public health.
