Output of Maroon Oil CO. Up 21%

Pourhang, addressing a session in assessment of the company’s wells within the next 50 years, reported the company’s performance in the first half of the current calendar year which began on March 20.

He said MOGPC took advantage of MOS and MOT equipment for recovery of oil, gas and condensates during the period and produced some 99,800 barrels of oil, up 21% year-on-year.

He said the rise has saved the company some IRR100 billion.

MOGPC also managed to inject 97% of desalination wastewater to disposal wells during the same period.
