Speaking to Shana, Hashem Namvar said the refinery has successfully completed a TSD operation at the facility which shut down its operations for a period of 11 days and nights for boosting its production capacity.
He said the refinery has launched new units and overhauled its major sections which will raise its output by 3 million liters per day.
Namvar said the TSD operation was a must for continuation of the refinery’s operations, adding 9 new units are added to the facility for realizing the production boost.
The units, he added, include high density naphtha recycling unit with the capacity of 25,000 barrels/day, light density naphtha with 21,000 b/d, catalyst conversion unit (25,000b/d) and gasoil recycling unit (50,000 b/d).
The official also said once all the new units become operational, 70% of the facility’s gasoline output will meet Euro-4 standards.
