1st Compression Platform at South Pars in Phase 11 in 5 Years

Meshkinfam made the remark in a ceremony held for inking principled agreement for development of phase 11 of South Pars gas field.

He said phase 11 is the last leg of the South Pars joint field to undergo development and it will be distinctive of other phases of the field for having the gas compression platform.

He noted that the blocks A and B of the phases will in combination yield two billion (equal to 56 million cubic meters) cubic feet of gas a day and the gas will be sent to the phases six, seven and eight and the phase 12 refinery, which have vacant capacity.

He put total volume of in-situ reserves of phase 11 at about 21 trillion cubic feet.
