Director of the Fifth Refinery of South Pars Gas Company Iraj Khorramdel told Shana that in the period under study, the volume of gas extracted from the platforms of the refinery rose by 3.4 percent.
He said on the whole, including the feedstock sent from the fourth refinery of the Company, the amount of feedstock of the fifth refinery rose by 5.4 percent in the first half of this year compared to that in the same period the previous year.
He added that the amount of gas exported in first six months rose by five percent compared to that in the same period the year before.
He went on to say that in the period, 14.5 million barrels of gas condensates were produced and exported.
The official said production of gas condensates of the refinery increased by 2.1 percent compared to last year’s first half yearly figure.
Khorramdel said in the first half of this year, the refinery also yielded 350,000 tons of propane and 200,000 tons of butane.
